Pyring
Pyring is a Python replacement for Palm OS Keyring. It can run on the desktop, a Nokia N8x0 tablet or the Neo Freerunner. It uses the same database on all systems. Pyring will import version 4 pdbs directly from a Palm OS database.Version 1.1.0 adds supports for importing cryptinfo MemoDB exports. Cryptinfo binary imports are not supported because Normsoft believes in security though obscurity. If you know the binary format for cryptinfo databases or can compel Normsoft to provide them to me I will look at binary imports for cryptinfo. Once imported please delete the memos to give yourself some security.

If pyring doesn't show up in the list of applications to install in the application manager then install one of the extras repositories below.Install Pyring for chinook or diablo
Neo Freerunner install
opkg install http://www.handheldshell.com/software/pydes_1.3.1-r1_armv4t.ipk

Desktop Install
Download and unpack one of the tarballs below
python setup.py install
There is a pyring 1.1.7 tarball here if you want to use it with your desktop. Python 2.5, pyDes, python-pygtk, python-devel, python-xml, python-crypt, python-pickle, python-distutils, python-compile, python-netclient and glade are prerequistites.
